Memoir of A Minimalist

Dinagyang Heat

How’s the party last Saturday night?

My system can’t dwell to party since I encountered severe migraine caused by hell weeks.  Extreme mood swings could happen if I don’t learn to relax.  Well, to unwind is given.  I have to be concerned about being sleep-deprived and low-resistance.

Moving on…The glimpse I had of the crazy Dinagyang fever was the horrendous traffic along Diversion road.  Seriously.  It never happens on a daily basis for the Ilonggos.  Even during early mornings I commute to school, I have to walk miles to the possible yet nearest jeepney loading area.  Carrying a shoulder bag full of books and vanity stuffs, a DSLR bag on the other, and a classic file organizer, oh my goodness!  For goddamn sake, who would have fun to do that?  =))

I woke up this lunch hour feeling refreshed.  A chance to sleep for like 12 hours has become a luxury for workaholics.  Honestly speaking, I crave Sunday workdays!  This is the only day which I take a break from the booze crowd and events glory.  Turned down one VIP ticket, and front row shoot at the Freedom Grand Stand.

Let’s just have a cup of java and snuggle under the sheets in serenity.  Feels like I’m slowing down the clock in a different place.
